Day 5

Today we talked about colors.
We told our friends our favorite colors.
We made a graph


Then we wrote sentences about our favorite colors.


Then we read a book about colors.
There was a cat in the book.
The book's name is Cat's Colors.
We drew pictures with Cat's favorite colors.

Cat's favorite color is orange.

We had our first special.
We went to the media center.
We read books.
We checked out books.

We worked in centers.
We were sharing and caring.

Today was Jatameyah's birthday.
She turned five today.
Now all the friends in our class are five years old.

We had a great day!

Day 4

We went outside. We played.
We drew pictures. We drew pictures of us getting ready for school.

We went to lunch. We had pizza. Yummy pizza!
Some friends had chocolate milk. Some friends had white milk.

During rest, we went outside. We heard a loud noise. We went outside.
Our teacher said it was a fire drill.

We drew pictures of us.
We made a graph.
We wanted to know if there were more boys or more girls in our class.

The number was close.
There are 10 boys in our class today.
There are 11 girls in our class today.
There are more girls in our class.

We had a good day!
We had a good first week of Kindergarten!!

Day 3

Today we went outside. We played ball, soccer. We played. It was fun.

We played duck duck goose.

We learned about three centers.

We learned how to work in Dramatic Play.

We learned how to work in Math.

We learned how to work in Reading Center.

We took a good nap.
Mrs. White came to visit us, and help us learn about school rules in Spanish.

We had a good day!

Day 2

Today we talked about feelings.
We all have feelings.
We made a list of feelings.

Feelings are ok.
We all have feelings.
We made a promise to always use our words to talk about our feelings.

We made a chart to show how we feel about school.

Most of the friends in our class are really happy about school.
Two friends are not sure.

We learned about blocks.
We learned how to work with blocks.

We learned to clean up when we were done.

We took a good rest.
We had a good day!

Day 1

Today was our first day of school.

Today we had fun!
Today we sang some songs
We sang a monkey song!
It was called Five Little Monkeys.
We made a super cool video, and watched it on our big tv.


Today, we also used the bathroom.

We read the book Miss Bindergarten Gets Ready for Kindergarten.
The book told us about how Miss Bindergarten got ready for school.
We drew pictures of how we got ready for school.

We ate lunch.

We played outside.

We had a good first day of Kindergarten!

We are gearing up for a new school year, and we are patiently waiting to meet our new friends that will be in our class over the next school year.

We hope to meet all of our new friends at open house on August 19.

The first day of school is right around the corner, Tuesday, August 25.
