Day 97

Today is number 97.
We learned at the calendar.
We have three more days until 100.
We talked about our days.
We learned about a new pattern.
We have red, orange, yellow, green, blue, purple, white hearts.
Today was a red heart.

We talked about Nursery Rhymes.
Nursery Rhymes were to teach kids things.
In the past.
The kids in the past.
It was to help them learn.
We read Three Little Kittens.
They lost their mittens.
Then they found the mittens.
Then they got pie.
They got their mittens dirty.
Then they washed them.
They were good kittens then.
Then they smelled a rat!!

We typed sentences this week.
That is new.
We didn't write them.

We went to lunch.
We had pizza.
Three friends went to the birthday bunch.
Cornella, Brian, James.

We learned about the weather.
We took a walk to look at the flag.
It was not a windy day.

In math we learned about estimation.
We estimated how many cubes would be in the jar.
We guessed 31.
It was passed it.
It was a good guess.
Our big TV turned blue.
Mrs. V. didn't know what to do.
Then it got fixed.

We talked about our favorite shapes.

We made a graph.
Six friends like rhombus.
That is the first grade word for diamond.

Mrs. Sherrie came to read to us.
She brought a friend for us.
It was Dr. Suzie.

Mrs. Sherrie and Dr. Suzie gave us a new book.

We went to P.E..
We had a race.
Randy A. was the fastest.
James was the fastest too. He was like wham.

James taught us a name game.
It is Lion Lion Bird.
We played it three times.

Then we watch a movie about Wilma Rudolph.
We made a picture of her.
We are going to make a book of her life.

Everyone earned CATS!

Jatameyah made a card for her mommy.

We are going to make Valentine's for all our friends!
19 friends.

We had a good day!

Day 96

Today was the first day back since it SNOWED!!!!
We had five home days!

Cornella's birthday was on a home day.

We came to school late today.
James said, "On news 14 Carolina they said we had to stay home for a little bit."
We read books.
After we read books, we ate lunch.
We had chicken nuggets and bbq.

After lunch, we went to calendar.
We learned about our week.
We counted the days of school.
Four more days until 100.

We wrote down what we know about Wilma Rudolph.
She hurt her leg cause she was sick.
She had polio.
She went to the doctor.
She wasn't supposed to walk.
She learned to walk again.
Then to run.
Then she went to the olypmics.
She won.
Three gold medals.
She was the fastest woman in the world.
She couldn't go to the store with white people.
Like Martin Luther King Jr.

We started making a shape book.
We colored.
We cut.
We glued.
We didn't finish.

We went to music.
We went to the gym.
In the gym, we watched a movie about our hearts being strong.
Then we sang a song in music.

We went to centers.
Cornella lost a tooth!!!!

Two friends have lost teeth at school!!!


We had a good day!

Day 95

Today is 95.
Today is Ja'Mario's birthday.
We sang a song to him.
We finished our January Calendar.

Today is Ms. Gordon's last day.
We are going to miss her.
Melanie is sad.
She doesn't want Ms. Gordon to leave.
Ja'Mario had Mrs. Baker in Pre-K.

We made our book.
Our words this week said "He will be a ____."
We highlighted our word be.
That is the word we learned this week.
We cut our sentences apart.
Then put it together.
Then drew a pictures.

Mrs. Washington came for reading group.
She gave treats to the friends who did the right thing!

We went to lunch.
We had pizza or fish sticks.
It was good.
James got a belly ache.
Then he rested his body.

Randy G. got a friend.
He is going to come on Friday.

We are almost to 100.

Briana had bubble gum.
She got it on her leg.

We worked in math centers.

Mrs. V. had a meeting.
A long meeting.

Mr. Potato Head came with Ms. McClure.
He was ready to go swimming.

Mrs. F. read to us about Wilma Rudolph.

We had a good day.

Day 94

Today is number 94.
We have six more days until 100.
Today we put a white snow man in our calendar.
Our pattern is almost done.
The month is almost done.

We read Fiesta!
We drew pictures of one and more than one.
There was one basket.
There was one pinata.
There was more than one airplane.
There was more than one horn.
There was more than one ring.
There was more than one piece of gum.
There was more than one piece of candy.

We talked about punctuation again.

Mrs. Washington came for reading group.

We went to lunch.
We had macaroni and cheese or cheeseburgers.
That is cheese on both.
It was good.

We went to the library.
We got new books.
We brought them back to class.

We learned about the present.
The present is today.
We learned about the past.
The past is a long long time ago.

In math we learned about shapes.
We talked about length, width, height, size, color, texture.
We work in math centers.

We had guidance.
Ms. McClure told us about Trustworthy.
We made necklaces.

We went to centers.

We went outside.
It was warm.
It is supposed to snow tomorrow.
We might get to leave early.
Maybe.

We said Happy Birthday to someone.

He is on a boat.

We have 7 more days until 100.

We learned about the day.
We added a blue mitten to our pattern.

We guessed what our book was going to be about.
It is in Spanish.

We liked the book.

We did exercises with a new friend.

The fire people will come in February.

We did not work in centers today.
We ran out of time.

When we got to school, Mrs. V. had our science project ready.
It was in the hall.

All the classes have science projects in the hall.
We are going to go look at them later.

We are excited.

We learned about the day.

Day 91

Today was day 91.
We are close to 100.
We went to the calendar.
We added a yellow mitten.
We have 9 more days until 100.
That is a little.
We talked about the date.

We finished out science project.
We shook our pictures to find out which things would fall off.

Then we wrote about what we saw.
It is an observation.

We found out that the white glue was the best.
Then gel glue, then rubber cement, then glue sticks.
Mrs. V. will put our board together.
It will be ready after our home days.

We had reading group.

We made bird feeders for birds.






Mr. Kyle came to put up bird houses for the birds.


We are working to feed birds.
During the winter.
They can't find food.

We started another blog to talk about that.

We went to lunch.
We had pizza and turkey pie.
It was good.

James was a teacher.
He gave some friends lollipops.
Randy A, Brian, Randy G, Luis.

We went to art.
We made elephants.
We put the trunks.
White and black paint makes gray.
Red and white makes pink.

We had a good day!
We had a great week!
