It is Wednesday.
We learned at the calendar.
We went to art.
We painted gingerbread men.
We got paint on the tables by accident.
We got paint on our bodies.
We didn't go outside.
It was raining.
We are learning about cause and effect.
Something happens to make something else happen.
The cause was it rained.
The effect was we didn't go outside.
We drew pictures of cause and effect.
In our book, Maxi, The Hero
The thief slips on a banana peal.
Maxi catches him.
That is the cause and effect.
We went to lunch.
We had chicken sandwiches or spaghetti.
It was good.
And peaches.
And milk.
And corn.
We worked in centers.
Mrs. V. asked us questions.
We did reading.
We learned sounds that help us learn to read.
We read a book about a dump truck to the rescue.
We went to the computer lab.
We had a good day!

Are you excited about learning to read? I remember when I first started reading. My mother and daddy helped me alot.
Do you enjoy art? How did you paint your Gingerbread men? With Old Salem right there in Winston Salem, have you visited there during this time of year and smelled baking ginerbread men and wonderful cinnamon? Mmmmm, it's yummy!
