Day 76

We had a busy day!
So busy Mrs. Voigt and Mrs. Farrington had to write the blog for us.

Our little friends got to wear their pajamas today.
We even wore our pajamas!
We were excited to see how they looked in the pajamas!
We were excited to see all the fun pajamas they had!

Some friends decided not to wear their pajamas, but that is ok.

We still learned just like any other day!
We learned about the day at the calendar.
Then we read our book, Shoes like Miss Alice's.
Today our friends drew pictures of their favorite kinds of shoes and what they like to do with them.

Do you like all the things they like to do in their shoes?

We all went to lunch.
Lunch was yummy today.
Melanie even went to tell the ladies in the lunchroom how much she likes the mac and cheese.

After lunch, our friends learned about different types of holiday symbols and what they mean.
They wrote about things they would want for Christmas.
They worked with ordinal numbers and then they counted ornaments for a Christmas tree.
The ornaments for the Christmas tree became an ornament they can take home for their own tree. They thought that was pretty neat!
Our friends even worked in centers, in their pajamas!

We like to watch them work!

After math, we got to watch the Polar Express. Yesterday, our friends got to learn in other teacher's classes all about the Polar Express, and today we got to watch it. They got to wear their pajamas because the children in the movie are wearing theirs. They thought that was pretty neat!!
During the movie, we got to have a holiday party too.
They all brought lots of good treats to share with their friends, and had a great time!

We had a great day!
Everyone worked hard, even in their pajamas!
It really was a great day!

  2. WOW!

Happy to see your smiling faces (and you in your neat PJs)! How did you like "The Polar Express"? Would you have been cold outside in all that weather in just your PJs?

And with all of this activity and excitement, you kept focus on doing and learning. I saw lots of happy faces. I'm very proud of all of you, Mrs. F and Mrs. V!

Enjoy another good day. Be happy and safe with all of the home days ahead!
