Day 29

Today was 29.
Mr. Caterpillar turned 29 today.
Today is Monday.
It is a new week.

Today we read a book.
It was about a girl.
It was all about the girl.
Mrs. F. said we will read more stories by the same author.
Maybe tomorrow.
Not today.

We read a book about animals.
Animals make noises.
It was called Mice Squeak, We Speak.
Squeak, Speak.
Those are rhyming words.

We went to lunch.
We had chicken nuggets.
And Ketchup.
It was yummy.

We worked in centers.

Mrs. V. wasn't at school.
We missed her.
Mrs. F. said Mrs. V. would tell us where she was.
Tomorrow.

We had Media today.
We took our books back to the library.
Mrs. B. let us check out more.
We like books.
Books are for reading.
Not building.

We learned about counting.
We put beads on a string.
Ten.
Ten beads.
We counted them.
One, two, three, four, five, six, seven, eight, nine, ten.
That is how we count.

We used our five senses to talk about things.
We talked about how they look.
We talked about how they feel.
We wrote about it.

We had recess today.
No P.E..
We go outside when we don't have P.E..

We had a good rest.
We had a good day!
