Day 140

Today is 140.
We have another bundle.
We added another seat belt on our tally marks.
We have 40 more days in Kindergarten.
We got a purple flower.
We have 17 friends today.
Daylin is not here.
Melanie was the teacher.

We came to the floor.
We learned.
We learned about sounds.
We learned about words.
We played the music words.
We read a book about a house.
A house is a house for me.
We wrote about our favorite house.
Randy G. said a kangaroo is a house for a baby kangaroo.
That is a joey.
A baby kangaroo.
A cage is for a bat.
That is what Briana said.

We went to reading group.
Mrs. V.'s group got to read two pages.
In the book.

We read our sentences.

We went to lunch.
We had chicken nuggets, chicken something and corn dogs.
Pineapples, pudding, brown pudding, bread, and vegetables.
It was good.

We had bathroom time.
We learned about making a body in science.
First we traced our friends.

Second we cut our bodies out.

Third we decorated.
Fourth we hung them in the hall.
Fifth Mrs. V. took our picture.
Even George got a body and his picture!
In Math, we learned about spheres.
Spheres can roll.
We found spheres in our room.
They were balls.
All balls are not spheres.
Footballs are not spheres.
Soccer balls are spheres.
George whispered the answer in Iker's ear.
Fourth grade came to read to us!

Melanie's cousin read to her.
We all had a buddy.
James read to us.
Randy G. got to go to Speech today.
With Jatameyah.
We had guidance.
We learned about Horton.
He heard a who!
They whispered.
We packed our book bag.
We went outside.
We played soccer.
Iker's shoe went on the roof.
We found two caterpillars.
We picked them up.
Mrs. F. said to put them down.
They are the wolly worms.
They were green.
It was dead.
Mr. Rodriguez came with the ladder.
Mrs. F. found him.
He got it off.
We played bingo.
We listened for letter sounds.
Not the names.
We had some winners.
We had a good day!
Everyone earned CATS!
